I am an OR nurse and have had my ileostomy for over thirty years now. I was twenty six when I had my stoma surgery and unfortunately no one told me about your product at that time. My colorectal surgeon told me to contact the local ostomy group to help with any problems I'd encounter with my ostomy appliance and such and they were very helpful, but no one suggested Devrom at that time. As any ileostomate knows, the odor from an ileostomy is much stronger than other ostomy types. I have been using Devrom for over twelve years and I have no fear of using a public restroom even while on an airplane. We have enough things to worry about and odor should not be one of them.
