AliMed Releases Post-Bariatric Surgery Discharge Pad

This discharge prescription pad allows patients to obtain the essential items needed for everyday living after bariatric surgery right to their door.

The patient is handed the prescription and an online or phone-in order form directly by their clinician, which makes ordering these items fast and easy for both patient and discharge nurse.
“We have packaged together into a simple to use, convenient discharge prescription pad, a formulary of essential items ranging from pureed foods balanced for post bariatric surgery diet, and pill crusher (for vitamins and medication), hygiene and bathing aids, dressing aids and other items patients of size need,” Jon Bretz added. “The discharging clinician can hand the patient the prescription, and the patient can then buy them directly from AliMed with delivery to either the facility (pre-discharge), or to their home. It’s everything they need, when they need it in one convenient package.”
